“Everybody was well dressed, everybody was a mess…”
-The Strokes, I’ll Try Anything Once

I’d like to be warm, away from this blistering cold that refuses to let spring in. I can dream about having a pillow fight with Mr. Man until then.

Male style icons I look up to. I would put a pic of Mr. Man here but that I keep to myself ;)

I like what Adam Kimmel has going on here. It features beards. Like. It has outdoors manly action. Like. An axe stuck in a log in the background somewhere. Like. “Lumberjack chic meets Pacific North West,” according to Dazed & Confused. Definitely like.

If you don’t feel like shooting that deer and prefer less volatile action perhaps you should consider a more relaxed yet effortless look.

I am personally not crazy about pastels, but I think they look amazing on men in the spring/summer. It always seems effortless yet well put together. Polos, button downs, cut off shorts, oxfords, tote bag, good reading material, and you’re ready for the resort.

So I’ve had a long ongoing love affair with Peter Jensen’s clothing. Its the right mix of quirky yet tomboy-ish. I can’t wait to see the new designs he has with Urban Outfitters.

Can we discuss this furniture for a sec? In the far future when I have a townhouse, I will definitely have some pieces from Anthropologie.

I feel closer to all of my cousins, uncles, aunts, and nieces, back in Nigeria whenever I look at this couch. In addition I am pretty sure my mom has a dress made in similar fabric. In love.

I have a love for clothes. I design them, I wear them, I dream of them and hopefully will begin making them soon. I also have a love for menswear and have always been fascinated with the variances in RTW designs each season. I am fortunate enough to have a special guy in my life and find myself shopping all the time for the both of us considering we’re the female/male version of each other and pick out the same clothes whenever we’re in the men’s section (it gets out of hand sometimes).
With that said, I’ve been compiling items I am completely in love with and I would snatch up if I magically won the lottery tomorrow (hey, a girl’s gotta dream). This is a wish list designated for the Mr. Man in my life ;)
